This is a nicely made tool that mount to the stem of your fly vice. It holds a ton of tools right at hand. The only shortcoming is that it has to be on you weak hand side to be out of the way so you have to store and retrieve the tools with your off hand. This can make it hard to place the tools back in the holder, esp tools that go in those fine holes.

I love this little thing for holding small screwdrivers when working at a repair bench. I have no idea what it’s supposed to be used for. I got it because of the shape and potential use.It is sturdy, easy to mount, heavy enough that it doesn’t wobble, and incredibly useful for holding small screwdrivers and brushes. Very helpful.

One of the requirements when tying flies is the keep the tools you're using convenient and nearby. This holder mounts to my fly tying vice and that means I'm not having to stop, look away, and reach for a tool that I need at that moment. One of the things about fly tying is speed and efficiency and this holder certainly helps on those fronts.

This fly tying tool holder is great and fits very my tying vises well! I love the sleek, machined look of it as well as the various shaped openings (both vertically and on an angle) to fit a whole variety of tools. Definitely makes for a cleaner workspace and much less hunting for a tool after laying it down. The only parts that prevent me from giving it a full five stars are:— The screw to secure it in place is made of plastic and will likely wear out. HOWEVER, I do recognize that this might be by design, allowing the arm to be swiveled horizontally, something that would likely not be possible if a metal screw was used, at least not without introducing the need for more complicated mechanics.— The product images show some type of removable insert that allows you to use this on vises with various stem sizes. However, I have not been able to locate any removable parts except for the set screw. But, all in all, it's a great piece of gear, and I'd highly recommend it!

My daughter bought this for her dad who had a hobby of fly tying. I can only go by word of mouth, but he said he really like how sturdy it was and liked all of the various spaces on it. While I'm not exactly sure what that all means, he said he liked it a lot.

A little disappointing, that's what I can say about receiving this product. Because the product depicted in the photographs and in the description by the seller is not what arrived. I did get the tool holder as you can see from the photograph included, however I was led to believe that it was coming with the stand as well but it did not. As for the tool holder, it is very well machined and easy to use. I already have one similar on my fly tying jig so now I will have to get an additional stand to be able to use this one as well. Just be warned, you're not getting the whole thing pictured when you order this product.

This is a great accessory to hold all the spools and hooks and stuff to tie flies or let them dry and cure. All of the holes are chamfered and there's no sharp edges anywhere. Lots of holes at different angles too to keep things out of the way of each other. Very useful tool accessory
