Good quality cleats for wading boots. Have both Phillips head and socket head which makes better to use with a drill driver. Bottom of washer is aerated to grip rubber well. Stay out once installed. Good price for quantity. Highly recommend.

These wading boot screws for improved traction are nothing more than robust sheet metal screws. They have teeth on the underside of the built-in washer. This helps with preventing accidental back out, but are specifically designed for metal to metal contact. It may not be effective on felt or rubber soles since the teeth depth is not very aggressive. The steel used is magnetic and appears to be galvanized. As shown in the picture, they are not much different than ordinary sheet metal screws grabbed out of my screw drawer. At the current listing price. You could get just as much value out of grabbing some hardware packages of sheet metal screws. For those of you that are looking for studs to use on your robotic mowers, there are better options with stronger steeland smaller head sizes on the market.

If you own wader boots and fish rocky rivers you will need cleats like these to keep you from busting your butt .. They may not last as long as the big name brand screws but are a better deal because of the low cost you can get 3 sets for what one of the big name costs ya .. so far these show little signs of use after three all day trips .. so far so good and super simple install ..use a little silicone glue on the threads before you screw them in and they’ll stay in place ..

These wading studs are just sheet metal screws that you can buy from any hardware store. There is nothing more special about them or different about the screws you can buy in the hardware store other than that they may be shinier. Since I get them free through the vine program, I figured I'd try them out. I had never installed studs on my waders before and now I have with these and I'll see how they work out. They were easy enough to install in the felt soul by using my Phillips head screwdriver and I just looked up different patterns on the internet and it's basically no recommended pattern so I just did it kind of random. In a couple of months I can get back to this review and post how I made out with them as I won't be fishing until sometime mid-June 2025.
