Brass tacks.. spades are spades but the primary difference is if the base material is made out of copper or something else.These spades are 24k gold electroplated copper. They crimp well and work perfectly for their intended use. If I can get 20 for about $7, it is a steal compared to spending $6 for 4 (OTHER name) and getting essentially the same thing with a different spade design and maybe fancier packaging. I really don't need good looking packaging as it goes straight to the garbage anyways.

Not your deluxe model, but I soldered them on with 6% silver solder and they work excellent. Plastic color coded sleeves work well enough, also. For the budget minded audio enthusiast it's a no brainer.
