The packaging needs to change. On the inside of the drum there is a metal seal ring that is smashed or bent beyond repair. I've had several wheel bearing failures due to the grease leaking out when it heats up. You also need th check the rubber seal on the spindle.

Purchased this for 2002 Ford Focus, mainly because of the name, Raybestos. I anticipated a quality product but it failed... TWICE!! Installation was great but realized later on that they DID NOT PACK ANY GREASE IN THE BEARINGS, causing the drum's bearing to seize and become welded onto the spindle knuckle, as shown in the photo. We were forced to order a brand new spindle and another drum/bearing set only to discover the second one did not have grease packed in the bearings. This product should have had grease packed into the seals and bearings before it was assembled. So, this being said, if you go forward and purchase this, be sure to put as much grease into the area before assembly.

WARNING! This does not fit a 2010 Ford Focus SE... I couldnt get this drum on the spindle not matter how hard I tried. I didnt want to force it. I would just go down to a local auto parts store and pick up a wheel drum to save the headache.

I purchased 2 of the Raybestos 9759R Brake Drums for my 2010 Ford Focus SE. One had a bad bearing that fell apart while being installed. The other had 3 of 4 lug studs fail while torquing the wheel on after the drum was installed. At around 50 ftlbs (95 ftlbs required) the studs broke loose from the drum and spun freely while turning the lug nut. I had to cut the new drum free from my tire and put the old drums back on. I returned both (in pieces) and bought a different brand of brake drum. I would not recommend these drums.

Bought these for my 2010 ford focus. I managed to get one on and shortly after the bearing disintegrated. Had to take the car to the dealership to get what was left cut off the spindle

1 good one out of three - not good. My Focus had one bad rear wheel bearing and decided to replace both of them with this product even though only one was bad. I had used this grade of brake pads and liked them, so thought these should be good. Amazon only had one in stock, so I ordered it and put it on to replace the bad bearing and that one is working fine now for several months. Ordered the second one once they were in stock again, and when I put it on the car, it had a bad bearing and the drum was not "true" and gave a hard pulsing braking with a loud thumping sound. Took it off and put the old one back on, problems went away. Got the replacement 2 weeks later, put it on and it is acting exactly the same way. Gave 2 stars because the one that works is fine, but one good drum out of three is - NOT GOOD.Follow up: Returned this item to Amazon for a credit instead of replacement, but they attempted to charge me a restocking fee. Later reversed that when I contacted them about it. Good customer service, but should not have attempted to charge it in the first place.

Great wheel drum with bearing and collar. Tried pounding out the bearing from the old drum and failed. Ordered this with bearing and only fourteen dollars more than bearing alone. Slips easily back on axle and no pressing bearings off and on. Wheel noise is gone too. Crossing my fingers how long the bearing will last, so far so good after a month.
