This is for diesel models with the production date from 12-02-2004 and newer, if you have a diesel with production date 12-01-2004 or older you need part # MC390782, Raybestos is a good quality brand, just ordered will update after installation if there are any issues with it.

I ordered this part for my truck that I am restoring, the Amazon site that said it fits my truck 2005 dodge ram TD 2500 4wdYou all know how that part of the site works, kinda makes you feel comfortable you are getting the right part.it is the incorrect part, the incorrect part listed as the correct part on the Amazon site.I found this out when I went to put it in the truck months after I bought it when I was ready to install it.After taking the old one out I saw that even know it looks correct, the mounting is completely different.Now because of the time frame Amazon and the seller do not want to help due to return policythis is customer service? I think Not Did I mention it was listed on the amazon site as the correct part?
