At first I thought it was wrong, but this one comes with whatever valve already attached. Nice touch. So if you think you’re missing the O ring you aren’t. They attached the valve already and I assume put an O ring under it. I’m not checking. I only bought this one because I wanted that O ring. Most don’t come with it and you have to find one or reuse yours.Unfortunately made in Chin a, like most Raybestos products today. A once proud American brand has been reduced to selling parts made overseas with their name on it and it’s more expensive then most others. What a shame. I bet they come off the same assembly line and you are just pay for the Raybestos name.No wonder Detroit, MI looks like it does.

[1996 Ford F150, 4.9L I6]I purchased this master cylinder believing that Raybestos was the way to go, since Motorcraft was not available in the cruise control model...It's only been about 15 months under totally regular driving in my pickup and already the rear seal/ o-ring has failed in this master cylinder, allowing a slow leak that has gotten low enough to eventually allow air into the system. When I noticed a marked difference in my brake pedal response last week, I went investigating and traced it back to the tell-tale line of fluid residue coming directly from the back of the master cylinder, where the MC bolts onto the brake booster face. This picture was taken at an angle, but the drip-line is in a near-perfect 6-o'clock direction, proving the source of the leak as the MC. Once I discovered this problem, I see now that there is rust on the bottom of my brand new brake booster, suggesting that this has been a slow leak for awhile...which means plenty of time for brake fluid to seep into my brand new brake booster. Brake fluid is very caustic, so this will eat up the diaphragm inside the brake booster in no time, which will lead to it, also, failing. So, due to Raybestos' poorly-made MC, now I have to replace not only it, but ALSO my BB. I have reached out to Raybestos to see if they will warranty out/ rebuild my MC (they have a limited lifetime warranty), but, even if they do, they're not going to do anything about my BB which is now also involved in this F-up. So I'm losing worktime, and money. And I'm very aggravated, not to mention disappointed.I would not recommend this product; buy a different brand. I will steer clear of the Raybestos name from now on.

Does not fit as described in ad. According to Raybestos buyers guide this master fits F150 1996-1999 with cruise.Product arrived before listed ETA. excellent service.

Contrary to the photo, the MC I received was supplied with the residual pressure valve assembly installed in the rear port. The box was marked "Made in China". Other than NOT using an original Ford/Tokico casting, it appears identical, and is working perfectly after a few weeks of use.UPDATE: Still working fine after more than a year.

Worked great as you would expect from Raybestos ya pay a little more but in my experience you get what you pay for.
