I bought these for a 2010 Toyota Corolla S model, and the silver clips have a rubber coating, I'm assuming to prevent it from corrosion and making noise.There was a defecting part though, one of the rubber boots had an extra piece of rubber inside that was not cut out at the factory and it prevents the slider pin from going through the boot, so I had to reuse one of the older boots.Other then that, the kit is nice.

Missing a rubber caliper pin ring. Otherwise I liked the kit a lot! The anti rattle clips had some sort of coating to help with friction reduction and likely corrosion resistance.
