This is a pool heater that has the Plastic heat manifold , the last model I had, had a cast Manifold and rusted out pretty bad but worked for 15 years Very happy with the performance so far. I have it out side in Indiana and It does fine sitting out all year but I have to put mouse traps or mouse Poison in it to protect the wires which some times get eaten other wise great unit very durable.
