This is by far the best docking station I have purchased. So many plugs. I have had it for about 6 months now and I have no complaints. IT doesn't glitch or cause the screen to go dark like my surface docking station did.

I needed a dock to use with my MacBook Pro for work. This unit had good reviews, so I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. I've been using it for a week or two now and it's been working great.

First off, I want to say that this dock is great. It functions very well and it is made out of quality materials. If it worked for M-Series MacBooks, I would definitely use it. Unfortunately, however, my M1 Max Mac does not support dual extended mode with this dock. I assume it’s because this dock uses MST, but Apple’s M-Series Pro and Max chips are supposed to support up to 2 extended displays from 1 thunderbolt 4 port. So to be honest, I am at a total loss as to why this dock doesn’t work with my Mac… it doesn’t support displaylink drivers either, so that wouldn’t work either if you tried (I tried, and it didn’t work). If you’re a Mac user wanting dual displays out of one port, this dock probably won’t work for you since it didn't work for my Mac (the Pro and Max chips of any M-Series model are supposed to support multiple extended displays via one port, so if this dock didn't work with my Mac it likely won't work for yours either).

I’ve been looking for a while for a 2x4K 120Hz docking station and this is it. I’m a long time Razer fan and this delivers at a very solid price. It’s well made and nice soft metal finish and looks great on the desk without taking up too much space. It’s extremely responsive which is something I’ve found lacking in most other docks (my primary dock prior to this was the Thinkpad thunderbolt 4 dock). USB port selection is good and having a low interference port is a cool concept. The power supply is quite large but enough cable was included to be able to easy tuck it away. Another great thing is the power indicator light, which is a nice muted brightness so as to not be distracting. Love it!

I love using my laptop i have, its really powerful and gets the job done for everything i need. The only complaint i have about my laptop is its screen is extremely small! I got this doc hoping i could hook my laptop to it and a monitor and have my laptop on a big screen. It works perfectly! Everything is extremely easy to put together right out the box with instructions being very clear. Overall i am very pleased with this product and would recommend to anyone.

Was looking for a dock with HDMI 2.1 for a long time that can support 4K120 but to my disappointment doesn't support anything higher than 60HZ with Mac. No 120hz no VRR or CEC and this thing cost $329 CAD + tax. If I only need 4K60 I can stick with my Thunderbolt Dock.No where on the box said there are any Mac limitation, their support point out the product is compatible with Mac and no resolution is given and only told someone will contact me in 2 business days. Probably quicker to return and get a refund.

Really happy with this Dock, I feel like I finally have the solution to peripheral cable hell on my workstation. Since I started working remotely 5 years ago I've been chasing that dragon. I've tried a few other similar products but they were always glitchy with video randomly dropping out and or USB devices disappearing and/or reinstalling randomly. Another popular brand I used in the past got alarmingly hot to the point I stopped using it because I was concerned it would melt. I've been using this 8-10 hours daily with my work laptop (16" M2 Macbook Pro) for over a month now and have not had a single issue and it stays relatively cool.I've replaced four different connections to my laptop with a single USB-C and even added wired ethernet to my setup. I never bothered with wired ethernet on my work laptop since my wifi works fine and I didn't want another dongle. Since it was so easy to add with this dock without needing another cable running to my laptop I figured might as well keep one more heavy traffic device off our wifi network. With this dock I have 100W Power, Ethernet, External Monitor (1080p), USB Mouse (Razer Mamba Elite) and USB Keyboard. All of this now runs through a single USB-C cable. Since I can get power through this dock I now can just leave my Macbook charger in my work backpack when previously I had to pack and unpack it every time I went into the office. That made cable management basically impossible so I always had a charger cable hanging over the side of my desk. What's also fantastic is that now if I want to use my personal 14" Macbook Pro with a full monitor, mouse and keyboard setup it's as simple as just plugging in a USB-C cable and I've got a full desktop like setup. That's not something I used to bother with due to all the annoying cables.I will caveat that I'm only driving a decade old Asus 1080p second monitor with this. I've seen some other reviews have issue with 4k output. I don't own a 4k monitor so I can't confirm or deny this but for my setup it works flawlessly.Overall I'm extremely happy with this product. It looks really nice, it's a bit of a fingerprint magnet but once you have it setup there's not a lot of reason to touch it. It's solidly built and with a hefty weight and the quality is what you'd expect from Razer. From a cost standpoint I think it's priced accordingly to similar products on the market. Initially it seemed expensive for what feels kind of like a USB hub but it's really more of a docking station and when compared to similar products it's inline. Highly recommended if you're in the market for a docking station which supports power, ethernet and external monitors. If you just need a USB hub this is overkill.

I got this as a gift for someone and here is what they said to me: "Nowhere online did I see ANYTHING that stated this was meant for a LAPTOP connect to a PC for dual displays. I knew the reputation of Razer products and gaming, I figured "hey, this will be great for my cable management and keep things organized." After going through TWO different customer service reps and over an hour of being asked the same questions over and over, it was determined that this is really meant for a laptop to plug into and then connect to a PC and be spread over two different monitors etc. Just be warned. I hope someone doesn't fall into the same mistake as I did. "
