The hitch is made with one tube inside another so you cannot use any kind of lock mechanism to take the play out of it after a TEST DRIVE. It was so unsafe. I immediately uninstalled it with the play in the receiver. It equalled 2 and a 1/2 inches to each side on the toe bar. Very disappointed in this product. Also, it is not made out of stainless steel.It is made out of plain alloy steel

The material that it’s made out off is not capable to be used for what it’s advertised for!!!Your towed vehicle will end up drifting on its on causing huge problems!Instead Buy original product called Ready brake system by NSA it’s a small company that first created this braking system, they located in Kansas!

This thing makes for very sloppy towing. It’s very loose in all the connections. Our tow rig feels like it sways back and forth while driving. Especially on winding roads. We use a Demco tow bar with it.
