Took this RC boat out to a nearby lake, and for something this size, it moves surprisingly fast. Definitely not a pro-level racer, but it zips around well enough to keep things fun. The controls are easy to handle, even for someone who hasn’t used an RC boat before.Battery life is decent, especially since it comes with two. Swapping them out is quick, so you don’t have to sit around waiting to charge. Just keep in mind that rougher water slows it down a bit, so it’s best on a calm surface.Great little boat for the price—fast, fun, and easy to use. Just watch out for ducks. They do not appreciate high-speed watercraft.

This boat is easy to control, but very fast! When zooming through the water if you go to fast it will flip and wipe out. Which brings a slew of giggles and chaotic fun with the kids. The batteries last about 35 to 40 minutes, but it comes with 2 batteries so the fun can continue while one charges.

I've only been able to test this for seaworthiness in the bath tub so far as there's still ice on the local rivers, btu it seems like a lot of fun. It's been a few years since I played with an RC boat, and while I don't have much experience this one seems to be quite well made. It's very light but it doesn't feel delicate, so I'm sure it can take a few knocks without damage.Obviously I can't get it up to speed in a 6ft bath, but I have tested the self righting function multiple times and it always works, even after thrashing the water around a little to simulate a current.I really like the controller. My last RC boat came with very limited controls, but this one has the speed and trim adjustment dials you'll also see on the controllers of more expensive RC cars. All in all I'm very impressed given the affordable price.

Okay, this RC speedboat is pretty cool. It can really zip around on the water and the self-righting feature is really nice because sometimes the boat will capsize when taking tight turns really fast. The construction of the boat seems pretty good. Better than I expected. It even looks nice and sleek. It took me a little while to get used to the controller, but I usually have that issue with any controller at first. The batteries seem accurate with the length of time as claimed in the product's listing . . . about 20 minutes when rigorously playing with the boat. I like that there's two batteries so one can be swapped out with the other when it runs out of juice.Overall, I'm happy with this RC boat. It's more fun than I thought it would be and it seems like it's decent quality.
Truth. No Mercy.

This XDJXWJN RC boat offers a good bit of speed, claiming to go over 25 KPH, and it felt pretty quick on the water. The 2.4 GHz control seemed responsive, and I didn't experience any noticeable lag. It's a 4-channel boat, which allows for good maneuverability. One feature I appreciated was the self-righting capability. While I didn't intentionally flip it, it's good to know that it can recover if it capsizes. The advertised control distance of 500 feet seems reasonable for this type of boat. The low battery alarm on the remote is also a helpful addition, giving you a heads-up before it's time to bring it back. The inclusion of two batteries is a definite plus, as it extends the run time. They claim about 20 minutes per battery, so having two gives you a decent amount of playtime. The water-cooled engine is also a good feature to prevent overheating during faster runs.I did try out the automatic cruise control figure 8. You definitely need a good amount of open water to really pull it off without worrying about crashing, but it's still a neat feature to see. Honestly, it's also pretty easy to just steer it in a figure 8 manually too.Overall, this RC boat seems like a solid choice for both adults and kids looking for a reasonably fast and feature-rich remote control boat. The inclusion of two batteries and the self-righting function are particularly nice touches, and the automatic figure 8 is a fun extra if you have the space.
