This is an upgrade from stock,the motor is quiet.but it seems like it has power than the stock

I'm really happy with this setup. I see the price has doubled since I bought mine though.I installed it in my c24-1, and it gives me some more speed and torque.The added weight is nice too, and helps keep everything on the ground.

However........ the stock mounting holes put your driveshafts at a horrible horrible bound up angle I can't believe anyone really runs it like that. I get it, they have to make it fit somehow on that chassis. What I did, however, was to drill 4 new holes so it mounts the engine 'the right way', aka, the same wiring as stock engine. This puts the tcase forward a whole bunch and allows the driveshafts to sit at a really comfortable relaxed position that doesn't bind up or restrict movement of the suspension, lets it sit right in the middle of the driveshaft extend/contract cycle.I used krazy glue on all my suspension links because they are very finnicky and once you got them adjusted you never ever want them to move or loosen up because they would just thrash the threads and clunk and rattle and become garbage very quickly. The threads are not strong in those thingsI had to do a bunch of trimming on the rear body for it to fit at all, and the battery has to sit in a weird location which kind of sucks but it is what it is.
