The motor lasted one and a half batteries. Two separate days. Was cutting in and out since day one. And there was hardly a difference between high and low gears. It’s like it was binding the entire time it was in use, and getting hot. With the motor out, the truck rolls free.

my son replaced the old run out stock 540 motor in a 4wd racing car with this motor. at first, it ran great- at least as well as the OEM, but it burned out after about 2 hours of use. we have since upgraded to a brushless for this car that has been holding up much better.

Thus motor is a great upgrade option. You do need to solder the leads on but it us worth it. Great product!
