How To Order Our Chains

If you order multiple quantities, they will be delivered as one continuous chain. The exception is welded brass chains, which have a maximum length of 10 feet. Quick connectors are available separately for extending chain lengths.

About Welded Chains Welded chains, signified by a -W in the title, are made from links that are welded closed. This increases maximum weight load, but the links cannot be opened up to directly connect. A chain connector, sold separately, may be required to attach the chain.
About Unwelded Chains Unwelded chains, signified by a -U in the title, are partially or entirely made from links that are not welded. The weight capacity will not be as high as welded chains, but for most unwelded chains, the links can be opened with pliers to adjust the length or directly connect to an item.
About Maximum Chain Lengths Unwelded brass chains (-U) have no length restrictions, while welded brass chains (-W) may be limited to 10 feet. For continuous lengths over 10 feet of welded brass chains, please check with us for availability.

Finally, some decent quality hardware. The chain is much stronger than it looks. I use it in my woodworking business as transom chain for hope chests and jewelry boxes. It is very strong, but easy to cut to size. A little pricey, but worth it.

Nice chain I bought it to hang my colored Kitras Orbs with ,I chose the copper because I make my own copper hooks from copper wireThe chain feels sturdy enough to hang the large 6 inch orbs and probably more.I actually ordered another 10 ft today to replace the old chain my others were hanging on

I ordered this to hang my framed stained lead glass window, about 15 pounds. It's strong enough to suspend the window from the ceiling. The chain is more attractive than I thought it would be.... Package arrived early. I am pleased.
