Had to cut some of the mount, and bend my chassis straight but thats just so I can move it all the way forward, and mount my front bumper on. works great, and is sturdy.

I can't believe I only paid $20 for this. I was blown away by the quality of the part. It's got a bit of weight to it as well.I installed this on my first generation scx10. Fitup was a breeze. Some comments say that the first gen bumpers don't fit. I cant confirm because I'm going to build a custom bumper.One negative is that it does not come with screws to mount your servo but I have a surplus of extra screws so it didn't affect me. However, the screws to mount the servo are included.

So, I have now purchased 2 of these. My first was for my scx10ii that I did the battery lay down mod to the second was for a custom frame and handmade cage build. Each time it mounted up perfectly. Have had zero Fonteyn issue or failure with threads ect. Simple mod that makes a world of difference. The only thing that is necessary is if you are running a bumper you may need to cut the pegs so that it fits.

Works exactly as described. Used on an axial scx10ii honcho. For the reviews that said it did not work. You either have to modify the stock battery tray or buy a new battery tray.

Works like it’s supposed to, wish they would include 8 screws instead of just 4, 4 to mount it and 4 more for the Servo.
