Initially tank arrived severely damaged. Seller was great and quickly arranged for item to be picked up, and shipped replacement unit immediately. New tank arrived in pristine condition. Despite conflicting info this tank IS DOT certified for Diesel & Gasoline. Best tank on the market and best price too!UPDATE: Previous reviewer posted that the tabs broke off. It's important to read the installation instructions and install the foam padding and shock absorbing springs that are supplied with the tank. Nothing wrong with the tabs, just make sure to install correctly.

Don’t buy this product. I just replaced my first one because the tabs that hold the tank to my truck both broke after only 5 monthsThe replacement came and is dented where the fuel cap is. Someone dropped this tank on its cap. In addition the fuel gauge that is included did not have its float installed so it cannot measure how full it is.Piece of junk it will be returned also

Tank appeared just as ordered. Surprising that it wasn't in a box though, just a loose tank. UPS did a good job though and got it here quickly and it wasn't beat up or scratched. It included everything in the picture except for the optional pump which is what I was expecting. Locking cap seems very secure with circular or barrel keys like you'd see on a vending machine. Very nice!Only ding I can give it is the bung where it shows the optional pump was filled with a PVC fitting and not a metal fitting. I'll be using it as an auxiliary tank with no pump so I have to locate a metal fitting to replace the PVC fitting that came with it. Its a $5 item at best at the hardware store so its a minor inconvenience I can live with.All in all a good tank and I'm happy with my purchase.
