Your cart is empty.Most RDS transfer tanks also provide auxiliary fueling. RDS offers a full assortment of tanks in various capacities and dimensions to fit your needs. Auxiliary tanks connect to your vehicle’s fuel tank. Diesel fuel can “gravity feed” from the bottom of your RDS tank. An optional Diesel Install Kit contains the necessary items to economically and easily connect your RDS tank to your OEM fuel tank. Gasoline auxiliary fueling is allowed, if siphoned from the top of the tank by using an electric fuel pump.

My husband needed this tank for work. It took me over a month to find the exact size he needed because we haul a 5th wheel RV. When we received the tank and unboxed it we were extremely disappointed! We could tell there was absolutely no care taken when shipping this tank! For the amount of money we paid for this, I was absolutely sick to my stomach!!

Got the tank today . It looks grate and it has 3 taped outlets on top one has a over flow in it.it also has a hole for a gage on top. And one 3/8 drain plug on the left side. The only problem was the gas cap was missing . Called northern and they told me I would have to call the manufacturer. No result yet.

Upon recieving the tank i saw that it was packaged very well. No scratches, dents, or dings like some other the other descriptions mentioned. The tank had plenty of separate taps on the bottom and top and the mounting tabs on the bottom of the tank are good and sturdy. I put the tank in a 2007 Ford F350 with a shortbed. It fits great. Keep in mind that this is a 91 gallon tank so the top of the tank will sit flush with your bed and the filler inlet will sit ABOVE your bed. Also, if you pull a fifth wheel camper like myself you may have to unbolt your front bracket that holds the fifth wheel and bolt the tank down and then reinstall your fifth wheel bracket.All in all this is a great tank tho. Good looking welds all the way around the tank and built well. I would reccomend it to anyone who is looking for a tank of this size.

First let me say that Northern Tool is a great place to buy from. They kept me informed every step of the way as the product was dropped shipped from the manufacturer. The title really says it all. Northern Tool was great, but RDS looses major stars because they didn't crate the tank or wrap in anything to protect it. It arrived with a dent and several scratches. I was able to fix the dent and polish the scratches out, but after shelling out that kind of money, I shouldn't have to spend 8 hours making it look good again. I would have happily paid for a crate or packing of some kind.The tank itself is great. It has more fittings and spots for you to customize than you'll ever need. I'm using it as a transfer tank in my 1986 Chevrolet crew cab that we put a Cummins diesel motor in. Mounting is simple and hook up was a piece of cake. If you have an older truck like mine, be careful of the height of this tank. The top of it sits even with the bed rail and all the fittings stick up above the bed rail. Which is fine with me. So if you are looking for everything to sit below the bed rail, then you will need a different tank.
