I was surprise at how strong and supportive this is. I’m 180 lbs and this doesn’t collapse under weight. The walking end has a nice thick rubber end. The loop end is strong and effective. This is versatile and a new must for my adventures.Trust you found this review honest and helpful:-)

this is a pretty cool device, that lets you reach places you wouldn't normally be able to, and rig your rope. You are supposed to be able to put a carabiner on the end, with the gate held open, and then extend the pole where you need it, hook and release the carabiner. It works pretty good, until the release part. It is really hard to get a carabiner with a locking gate, to sit in the head of the device right. Once you do get it in there, it is pretty much stuck. you can still reach far, but you really have to yank on the pole to get it out of there. Unless, you are using small d rings. if you are, it does work like it is supposed to though. Still a pretty cool tool, very sturdy, and lightweight. Might be worth a try.

I didn’t get this for climbing rock faces - I see this tool as useful around the house, the yard, and probably the campsite. I’ll use it to help place ropes for tree trimming, place and retrieve bird feeders, help get things out of the rafters in the garage and the attic, or wherever I simply need a longer reach. It’s just a very useful item.I will also add that the seller/manufacturer is very responsive with excellent customer service - they stand behind their product.

We have taken this stick clip out about 10 times and so far so good. Easy to place the quick draw with the rope and clip the first bolt. Can also unclip a quick draw, albeit a little more challenging. Happy with how the OUTMōRE Reach 12 has been holding up. Seems to be a sturdy item and it fits in our checked baggage.

This is a very well made and very sturdy telescoping pole that has more than just mountaineering uses. I can use it for hanging outside lights wires on the patio where nails are still in place from previous lighting set ups.The multiple positions for the various “reach lengths” needed to reach out and access something otherwise out of reach makes this pole a very tool.Being an older person who isn’t supposed to get on ladders like I used to… well, this poke brings certain tasks I need to do back into my reach. I like it very! Great, well made tool… even (and perhaps especially) for mountain or rock climbers!Go get ‘em!
