Perfect book light! I have been looking for a booklight with the amber light and this was the right one! When I lie down at night with my daughter, she always talks about how bright my light is so I end up having to turn it off. This light is not bright at all and she can sleep comfortably with no bright lights shining in her eye. The amber light is also very soothing to read under. The clip fits easily onto the books and adjusts well to the size of the book. I've been using this for weeks now and the battery is still as good as the day I charged it. It seems pretty durable for your standard booklight. All in all, this is a huge win!

Light is very small and has a strong clip to attach to book. The different light settings make it easy to read at anytime. Compact to carry in a carry on bag.

I have to admit I've gone through a lot of book lights. I read a ton, especially in the evenings before going to bed as a way of getting away from my computer screen.I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this light. Often times, smaller lights where the light is not on a long stalk tend not to work as well for hardbound books because the light doesn't reach to the bottom of the page. Or I keep turning the light off when I adjust the position of the light because the power button is right where your hand goes. Or, if I move the light just a bit, the light gets tilted if the neck is loose.Or the light loses charge immediately and I can barely make it through a few chapters.None of that is the case with this light.The bulb is very strong, and of course you can adjust the intensity lower or higher.The power button is where you grip the light but turning on the power requires a long press, so there's no chance of accidentally turning it on or off.It's a little odd that there are two intensity buttons, one up and one down, but these are located on the side of the light and I don't hit them accidentally. And, by the way, there is, in my opinion, quite a wide adjustment from low to high, which I appreciate.To adjust the color of the bulb, once the light is on, you press the power button to cycle to the color you prefer.I had a little trouble figuring out all of these ways to use the light (the instruction booklet is the only weak point of the light), but once I figured it out, I was hooked. And, with the light being the small style, it also works well for paperback books and is not too heavy to weigh down the pages.

It’s actually super bright in my opinion I have no issues, came fully charged and now I can read in my bed without wasting my electricity.

This is a pretty nice light. Works very well and battery is lasting quite a while. Has all working brightness modes. It is a little heavy for paperback books though but clipping the light at end of book seems to work great. Very pleased with purchase.
