I thought this book was wonderful for taking a plain sweater and adding cables according to your own likes. The patterns for cables were fabulous and I can't wait to start designing my own patterns.

This book is great for its tutorials and projects. It provides the practice you need before starting that complicated pattern you've always wanted to tackle.

There is nothing quite like opening a new book especially one that holds so many different lessons.After learning from the dvd format I am now comfortable trying it all. I love this, it covers so many different techniques and they are all relatively easy to follow. The road to discovery is wide open to anyone who is inclined to learn this craft.

This is a great book, and I find the instructions easy to follow. The projects and design ideas are well thought out and useful. I have made a few and am proud of them.

I have FINALLY figured out how to do cable knits, and read a knitting chart with the help of this book. My first project (not in this book) is using cables to make a cute little sweater for my poodle. Great simple, easy to read instruction for the clueless beginner. There are some very cute projects as well, a pillow, a messenger bag, and adorable lap top case.
