This is caused by a design issue with the truck itself. Often the factory-inherent problem is amplified when a lift or leveling kit is installed. Whether lifted or stock, the Dodge Ram 2500/3500 4 wheel drive will greatly benefit from the new steering box stabilizer bar. This new specially designed bar bolts between the front frame rails and attaches to provide support to the steering box, which results in a much better driving truck. The ReadyLift steering bar stabilizer bar will help eliminate the steering deficiencies in the truck by reinforcing the frame and steering box. Loosen steering box mounting bolts if fitment doesnt seem right around box shaft/bearing. Factory dodge box mounting holes have some play and box can rotate a few degrees. Try this before you send the product back. Happy with parts quality and build. Helped quite a bit with steering play, worth the money. Installed on an 04 cummins 2500 4x4. 3/11/21

Did not fit my 2007 ram 2500 5.7 hemi. The bearing mounting holes do not line up at all. Seems like great construction if it for though.

I'll start by saying that I bought a cheaper version of this product from amazon and had to return it. The one I bought was almost half the cost but the bearing wouldn't fit onto the the extension. So after sending that one back and getting my refund I purchased this one and right away I could tell a difference, heavier and better quality. It was a straight forward install and made a big difference in the steering in my 05 2500 Dodge. I would definitely recommend this product to all 3rd gen Dodge owners.

This did NOT fit my 2006 Ram 2500 Hemi. The hole for the bearing is way off center from the extension on the steering box. Other bolt holes lined up fine, just not the one for the bearing.Bad thing is, I waited to install it on my truck and now they won't let me return it.
