I have several real carbon fiber products by etesan, and love how they look on my C8 Corvette. So I had no hesitation in ordering these covers. Well, compared to other items that I have received in the past, these are very thick in nature and not as delicately crafted as other offerings. Being real carbon fiber, they look fantastic, especially in the sun (hence receiving 2 stars), but as far as fitment, finish and durability, this set of covers actually didn't fit well, and one of them ultimately fell off, as it wouldn't stick properly to the door release, because of it's mis-molding. Hopefully the pictures will explain better what I am talking about, you can clearly see a lot of the silver switch plate showing through, and a misshapen edge to the cover.This was a shame, as everything else that I have ordered from etesan has been superb, and fit really well. So overall, the real carbon fiber pieces look phenomenal, but in this case, they didn't fit properly, nor did they stay attached to the vehicle.

I installed these door lock covers the same day as installing the power window switch covers from the same seller. Both of them are top-notch quality carbon fiber with beautiful depth that shows up as soon as the sunlight hits them. While the fit was absolutely perfect for the window switches, these door lock covers were a little troublesome. The driver's side installation went fine following the normal procedure (wipe down the area with alcohol or some other cleaner, peel the 3M sticker backings, then warm the 3M stuff up with a hair dryer before carefully applying).The passenger side unit didn't fit quite right. Visual inspection showed that it was a bit misformed compared to the driver's side. The result was that it didn't quite want to stay stuck to the switch and there was a visible gap on the forward edge where the metal beneath was shining through some edges. I reached out to the seller and their response was immediate. Within a day, they had a full replacement set in the mail and it arrived within just a couple days! These may be built in China, but you won't have to suffer long shipping with this seller!I installed the replacement and it was much, much better than the first piece. However, very close inspection showed that it still wasn't as perfect as the window switches. Looking closely on the driver's side, I realized that the situation was actually the same and I hadn't noticed it at first. It seems almost as if the cover is coming into contact with the door's leather too soon and preventing it to from fully seating and sticking to the switch. To be clear, this is very subtle and I didn't even noticed until super close scrutiny. I have a theory that maybe my 3LT Corvette interior (which has the upgraded Nappa leather) has very slightly thicker leather than stock and that is contributing to the not-perfect fit. That's just a theory though.To be honest, while I think the power window switches are a MASSIVE upgrade, I'm not sure I'll keep these power lock switch covers on the car. The power window switches are a very rounded, organic shape and I wonder if a perfect fit is ever possible. More importantly, the switches are down under the armrest and barely visible anyway, so why bother? I also don't want to 'overdo' the carbon in my interior.Five stars to this seller for a normally-great product and really excellent customer service. Three stars for these switch covers though.

These are not up to par with Etesan's typical quality. These covers fit loosely and would not stick without my added 3M double sided sticky tape. They install well enough with the tape, and they look absolutely fantastic. They are a bit expensive though, especially if you have to work on them further to get them to fit or to stay in place.
