Just got this jacket and the quality of the leather, look/design, and fit, are as great as it appears in the Amazon photos. You can smell the good quality leather, and it looks so fashionable. The fit is just so ever slightly snug but that happens to be how I like it. It's definitely a jacket well worth the price. I will be wearing it whenever I can.

I got this for a friend of mine. Very amazing it fits him perfectly and it looks really good. It doesn't look cheap, it's very sturdy and definitely keeps the warmth in. The pricing is perfect for what you get. Also a great gift idea.

Appears to genuine sheep skin leather, not the thickest or heaviest in the world but real. Shipped in the product box with no extra protection and it was smashed to smithereens so be aware of that for gifting purposes. The box was light-weight and small so I was a little nervous at first but once out of the packaging my impressions increased. It was folded up several times and tightly in the box, which left crease marks and fold impressions all over the place. I tried to hang it for two weeks to see if they would naturally release but they did not. In the instructions it says to lay a white towel over the top and iron with steam. At first I used a textured weave hand towel and accidentally ironed the texture pattern into the surface (whoops!). Use a plain weave towel! White because you can color transfer dyed towels. Lots of layers with the pockets so I couldn't get it perfect but a huge improvement. Took a couple of times and a little stretch and hold while it cold to lock it in.Size wise I am a 40-Reg and the size chart showed a (larger than typical) medium would give me a few inches of freedom. The description also says they run large. This really wasn't the case. It is a pretty snug fit. I'm good with that look but not a whole lot of forward arm movement is available. (May stretch over time, we will see.) This restriction feels like it is coming from the fabric liner more than the leather shell. A large may have looked sloppy though but not sure without having both in my possession. If you don't mind a little sloppier look in the name of movability, definitely size up.I almost went with the light tan to mix up the wardrobe but decided to keep it classic with the solid black. I'm glad I made that call as the tan in later photos show too much contrast in that color to the point it looks wrong, in my opinion.Overall, for the price and in this price range, I think this is the highest quality you can really get. If you want thicker or cow leather you are going to have to pay more. Leather jackets last forever though so decide how much you want to invest.Super soft and supple but that comes in the name of durability. It will take surface scratches over time but that's kind of the name of the game. If you don't already have leather polish for your shoes you are going to need it over time to maintain the jacket. Clear or black will work and the first time polishing will probably require you do a light coat over the whole jacket to get the sheen to line up, after that first time you should be able to spot polish as needed. No real branding on the jacket itself. Where a brand would typically go you are presented with the cheesy "Genuine Leather" branding. This is a generic white box product being marketed, but that is fine. Most leather jackets are.In this price range it is 5 stars (3 stars compared to all leather jackets at all price points)If it ever falls apart, I will come back and update. Cheers!
