This lock box is small and discreet. It is well made, looks just like a book, and looks very nice on the bookcase. It blends in perfectly with my collection of classics and stands side by side with other titles by the same and similar authors. The embedded lockbox is made of metal and the included keys are good quality. It does not feel like a toy. It is the perfect way to tuck away some small items and emergency cash.

This is a nice enough product although the front of the book wasn't perfectly printed (doesn't show on the shelf anyway), but when you take into account that the lock prevents using the bottom part of the box, it is a really small space. I wanted to put in 2 watches, a ring, and a tri-fold men's wallet and the items barely fit. I'd recommend going with the bigger one that also has a felt lining. I ordered that one also. Still debating about keeping or returning this smaller one.

The booksafe is good looking but quite small on the inside. I am using for passport and a few other items so that I will always know where they are. I decided on the item with the key lock as there were many negative reviews about the combination lock. Some of the false pages were a bit wrinkled but it is not an item they anyone will be seeing so it is fine for what it is.
