Not impressed. I ordered a sample based on a good review by Bob Vila. I have neighbors who have artificial turf installed that looks really good. This is shiny, not very thick, and looks OK for lining a dog run area, not a lawn area. With shipping it was $27 for a 10 square ft piece. The big box store with the orange logo has some very high quality stuff for about $4 a square ft delivered so if I do get more it won't be this material.

Was super easy to unpack and lay out. Immediately flattened out. I love the bright color, it looks fresh and clean- I think it’s realistic *enough* looking. Great for what I was wanting. And hopefully it’ll cool down my patio since the sun can’t hit the cement anymore. Looking forward to doing some patio yoga as well. Awesome product!

I purchased it to place in a small open area next to my house with a couple of glass doors. The product looked OK at first, but a day later I noticed a visible area of artificial grass that curled and changed color. Almost like someone went over it with a hot iron. At first I thought this was just a defective product and I simply did not notice the damage when I unwrapped it. So, I returned it for a replacement.I carefully inspected the new grass before placing it in the same location and started watching it every day. At first, it was OK, but only because weather happened to be overcast. Then, the summer sunshine hit at full force and things changed. I could actually smell the plasticky odor of grass melting. Interestingly, the most damaged areas were the ones that got both the incident sun and the reflection from the glass in the doors/windows. The material has a very low melting point. Once the grass melts, the look of the surface is ruined.I have returned the second roll of grass and still waiting for a refund (refund is unusually slow, BTW, 16 days and counting). Home Depot sells a thinner (and not as good-looking) roll of grass approximately the same size for about $25. That one does not melt.If you are planning on buying this, it is only useable in shady areas, or, perhaps, if it is attached to cold foundation like concrete or wet ground.

I bought this for the kids to make a practice golf hole. It has been holding up well and it looks as pictured. I had bought one before that was longer for where my dog constantly runs and ruins the grass. It is a bit lighter than my grass but, all I wanted was for him not to get muddy so it's working for me and it has lasted over two seasons which is great for the price. The fibers seem to run in one direction so it isn't as realistic looking as others. I did not want to pay a lot for something the grandkids would play with and they as so happy and that is what matters to me.
