The assembly went fine for me, and I only needed a second pair of hands when dealing with the remarkably heavy counterweight panel in the back. While it wasn’t cheap (and the delivery truck was too big for my road), I expect that it will last for many years. The drawers slide out easily and it would take a lot to tip over. Overall, happy with it.

If you have put this type of furniture together before you will find it goes together easily, what I like about putting this product together is that the hardware is in its individual package. As you go to each step you simply open the next package in a strung of hardware packages.Now for the bad news, the plastic pieces that hold the front piece to the drawer break easily. Too bad part "B1" is not made of a sturdier material. So currently I have a filing cabinet w no drawers.

Cheap product don't buy many plastic parts work easily during installation the preassembled part comes cheap either broken or with big gapWas a mistake to brochures then what's your time or money

When I received this item it was clearly used. The pieces were just put back in a box and shipped to me. They were dirty and some of the pieces broke during assembly because they were so cheap. Luckily my husband could fix it and I didn’t want to ship back after spending hours putting it together. Really crappy product!

I moved my home office to the main floor and didn't want ugly metal filing cabinets. I replaced 4 ugly cabinets with this one lateral file. It looks nice, the drawers glide nicely and it holds all my files. Love the color and the knobs are nice. Only caveat, be careful to not put anything on the drawer bottoms. This is for hanging files only. The drawer bottoms are flimsy and will not hold any weight. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this purchase and the price was much better than any I found elsewhere.

First it delivered two days late. the hardware came in one bag so you have to separate each piece. almost every pre drilled hole was raised, so I recommend using wood glue to keep the pressed wood panels from cracking. the bottom drawer rails marked M cracked while screwing it together, i’m sure that’s because the pre drilled screw holes were not inline.. however it’s actually is better then the one’s we seen on display in stores. also as it said in the instructions “don’t put anything heavy in the drawers”.
