I was hesitant to buy this due to the cheap price but was struggling to get into my truck bed. It arrived and when I pulled it out of the box, I was very surprised at the quality. Install took 20 minutes. Leave all the bolts loose until everything is in place then tighten. I was amazed at how well it tucks up and how handy this damn thing is. Why don’t they put these on trucks from the factory?. If you are on the fence about buying it, don’t hesitate get it.

Step is well made for the price. Was very easy to mount with the following notes on installation: (Mine is on a 2019 3500 Ram, so variations could occur) 1. The kit includes replacement bolts but my factory ones were PLENTY long enough. 2. Put the step and the brace on with just a couple thread turns until everything is lined up. If you tighten first you’ll have to loosen it too align everything. Tighten the small 14mm bolt thats included and connects the brace and the step first, then the others. Thats it. That simple. I didn’t have any issues removing any of my bolts so installation took only 15 minutes. Works great.

Great product but cannot give five stars because the hole in the bracket and the tapped hole in the step did not line up. I had to measure and drill a hole to make it work.

What should have been a 15 minute installation took over an hour. From the picture you can see the bolt oval on the support bar is in the wrong location to thread the bolt into this step. This was overcome with about 30 minutes worth of work in my drill press once I created a new hole. Installation went in without a hitch after that modification. The step is nowhere near the sturdiness of the OEM Mopar step. For the price it seems like this step will do its job

Decent picture instructionsBut on the bracket that has the small mm bolt hole it did not line up with the treaded bolt hole on the main part. Had to drill another hole to line it up. Other than that it's good.I still used blue loctite on all 4 bolts in conjunction of torque them down per instructions.

Installation took 30 minutes. Had to drill a hole for a screw in the bracket as it was not there. Looks sturdy, but time will show. Recommend if you’re looking to save some money comparing to other options in the market.

I installed this in about 30 minutes with 4 bolts. This thing is great I’m a big guy and it has no problem holding me. It matches the pattern on the bumper and is easy to operate. Looks like an OEM part.
