The old latch wasn't locking in anymore. The one i got fit snug and I didn't have to adjust anything. Recieved the new latch packed in a box not just some plastic slip. Good product.

Very happy I did this myself as opposed to taking it to a shop. I did have to buy a torx set for $10 because I didn't have the t27 size required to remove the three screws underneath. Other than that it was fairly straightforward.
