See my full review for the front shields. Very happy with the strength of material and overall fitment. I would recommend purchasing longer metric screws to make it easier to hold the shield in place while you get it into place for the other hardware to get into. Great shields for the price!

As you can see I cut the star out… to match the DV8 fronts for a fraction of the coast.

I hated how every screw wouldn’t go into the welded bolt without cross threading them. That and the bolts themselves are made out of the worst metal ever. Every bolt will strip.

Overall these are nice. They took some persuasion to bolt together due to all the holes not wanting to line up, but once they were together they felt nice and durable. If you run aftermarket Fenders, the upper two mounting points aren't easy to get to (I just bent the tabs over to lay flat so they were not in the way and used two self-threading screws). I didn't like that there was not an option to choose a color on the back-plate for the star, but the post lead me to believe that a different color was available. I ended up drilling out the rivets to take the plate off and painted it myself and re-riveted the plates back on. Also, I recommend spray painting the bolt and screw heads after mounting these because the silver really stands out against the black sheet metal and these screws are prone to rusting in the wheel-well.

The top tabs are about 1/2 inch short of the the holes they are supposed to line up with.

Went together pretty easily. Installation took a little patience. Look pretty good though. Painted the star to match my front liners.

If this was more $$ I would not recommend.But overall I am happy since I just spent money on other more “expensive” items so I was thinking this could be on “cheaper” side.Recommend to read directions and put bolts in loosely and def work from middle to outside, so you work product outwards.Overall sturdy build and very easy to assemble.Parts don’t come with stickers but instead I was pleasantly surprised that each piece is labeled in cut metal. (Left or right)I made a modification and painted background black. I was unhappy that the background of star is riveted in vs allowing me to change color. So I taped it off and was able to paint black.
