Ordered this for my 2016 Hyundai Santa fe sport. My hatch was no longer opening unless I opened it from the inside. I went to the dealership to see what was wrong and they said I needed a new latch and it would be $600. Decided to try to fix it on my own. Bought this, installed it, works just like it should and now I can get into my trunk!

I have a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe which this piece says it’s for. Unfortunately I threw away my original broken piece. This part I order does not work, when I plugged it in it does not lock or unlock with the rest of my car and to make matters worse it doesn’t even fit properly. When I close my trunk it still reads as open so I have a constant notification going off

Not good quality. Easy Installed but it would not open and shut. Was put together wrong. Could not wait on another part so had to use pieces from old and new to make it work.
