Then clips don't quit match. However the switch does and it is a great price. I had to use some black duct tape to secure it as it would not clip in with the provided clips but I can now open my hatch. It works

This was very easy to install and can be done without removing the tailgate's inside cover panel. A flat bladed screwdriver was the only tool I used and that was to depress the locking tabs on each side of the switch assembly to remove it. The switch assembly has tabs to press on either side to unlock it as you pull it out [look at the new one to see where they are - it's the same locations as on the original]. I recommend wrapping some electrical tape around the connector after it's connected to the switch before then pressing it all back into place. Like I said, it was very easy to do and took just a couple of minutes.
