Product is sub par, but having a removable item mounted on plastic threads is unacceptable. The driver behind you that catches this in their windshield will prove that this is an irresponsibly cheap product when it leaves your vehicle with all the mounts still in place with their stripped plastic threaded studs. This was supposed to be a replacement for my previous one that I let go with the vehicle I traded in. This one seems like it should've been made by fisherprice. And for a ridiculous return cost, I even looked at ordering a metal hardware kit, but with the lousy fit & finish look, I just couldn't stand looking at it. If anyone is interested in the cheaper design, there are several places that sell this same one for 80 bucks cheaper. Good luck & happy driving.

Looks really good. The only hitch is that the bottom two brackets need to be longer. They just put two holes in it as kind of an after thought. I say this because you don't have indentations on the like the rest of the places the nuts go on. They bend in that part make them just a bit to short.

Bolts are cheap so only tighten with 8mm socket by hand… no ratchet. Definitely use 3M adhesion promoter and let mounts set 24hrs BEFORE attaching louvers and tightening.

Some of the 3m tape didn't want to stick down. There is one piece that is a little waves that won't lay flat. But other then that over all very happy happy.

The louvers came with everything you need to install them. Attention to detail and prep is the most important process when installing louvers if you want them to stick for a long time. In the kit they include alcohol wipes and a bottle of 3M bonding enhancer. I cannot stress enough how important it is for you to clean your windows thoroughly and use the bonding enhancer. If you do this correctly, the louvers will be on there so tight that you shouldn't have any worries about them flying off. They are also curved to the window which eliminates stress on the sides that most other louvers have. This really helps with the fitment and provides a bit more peace of mind that the louvers will stay secure. They also come with foam window spacers that go on pretty easily to prevent the louvers from rattling on the glass, which is fantastic. Very happy with the results and would highly recommend.

While the concept is nice, and the installation should be simple, there’s a few things that make it not so simple. For one, the 3m tape wouldn’t stick to the bracket. As soon as I’d try to peel off the red backing the tape would come off the bracket. Finally got that sorted and would go to tighten the bolts and the screws would break. I broke 3 while just tightening by hand. Other ones I tightened spun the bracket and twisted the tape, causing adhesion loss. I’m really disappointed so far. If the company will send me a few extra brackets I can fix it. I’m really worried that the screws in the brackets will break while driving or something.

Fit perfectly! If I could add something then you guys should consider adding three additional 3mm adhesive backs to the very bottom of the louver and 1 additional of the right and left side for a total of five 3mm adhesives and not just the two ends.It rattled a little due to both ends being stuck down and the bottom middle not having a 3mm back, so I used the extra 3mm tape I had and stuck them in the inside of the bottom of the louver. Quick fix but caused me additinal time and only salvaged because I had extra. Overall, pretty pleased!
