Product Description

Wiper Motor

What is Wiper Motor

A wiper motor is an electric motor that powers the windshield wipers of a vehicle. It is typically located under the hood or beneath the windshield cowl and is connected to the wiper linkage, which transfers the motor's rotational movement into the back-and-forth movement of the wipers. The wiper motor plays a crucial role in maintaining visibility during rain, snow, or other weather conditions.

Instruction of Wiper Motor

After installation, assess the wiper motor to ensure it operates smoothly and without noise. Adjust the wiper arms if necessary to achieve full windshield coverage. Routinely inspect the motor for signs of wear and keep the linkage lubricated to avoid friction and wear. Replace the wiper motor promptly if any issues arise to maintain optimal visibility and security.

Considerations relating to the use of Wiper Motor

When using a wiper motor, ensure that it is properly maintained to avoid mechanical failure. Routinely check for signs of wear, such as unusual noises or inconsistent wiper movement. Avoid operating the wiper motor when the windshield is dry, as this can cause undue strain. Always replace the motor at the first sign of malfunction to maintain clear visibility during adverse weather conditions.

Recently purchased and installed this motor. It was installed at the end of October 2024 and it is now January 2025, I haven’t necessarily needed to use it much but for some reason, it just stopped working. It replaced the old motor nicely until it didn’t work anymore.
