I feel much better with this on, not worried about hitting edge of mirror. Before I would accidentally hit the rim of mirror and cringe. Now this is in place to soften the blow. Nice and stretchy, no worry about breaking when putting on. Thick so not worried it would split because of mirror edges. Ordered white to match interior.

My son owns a Tesla Model Y and is notoriously hard to shop for. I saw this Tesla accessory and it arrived today. It is small but i bet he likes it when he gets it for his birthday early next month.

The band comes in a small plastic bag, and fit my rearview window perfectly. Got black to match my black interior. Simple, would recommend!

This fits my 2022 Tesla Model Y 7 Seater. It took a second to install on the mirror, just match the longer side of the band with the longer side of the mirror. It fits well and seems to protect the edges. I'm not sure if there is much of a danger or risk since I've never heard of this happening, but it gives it a nice outline and grippy edge that definitely won't smear when touched, so those are the more practical uses. But it does also protect it from anything accidentally chipping the sides. It also shows that I care about my car and will do extra to keep it in good condition. I do a lot of driving, so it is important to me to protect my car in any way possible to avoid accidents.

It's a pretty tight fit on my 2014 Tesla Model S (P90D) but it does fit and i like the color pop that it gives in the interior. It wasn't "difficult" to install but it did take a few attempts to realize how far I had to stretch it. It didn't snap or tear, but I was worried it might. Recommend!

I got this frame protector for my rearview mirror after getting a sun shade for the front window of my 2018 Tesla Model 3. Because the shade fits behind the mirror and is fixed in place with velcro ties around the mirror support support, I was concerned about possibly damaging the mirror's frame during repeated installations and removals of the frame. It only took seconds to stretch this silicon protector around the frame. Now that it is in place, I have no concerns with the sun shade harming the mirror. I chose the black color for the protector. It perfectly matches the car interior.
