This laser pointer does what it’s supposed to, with some nice extras. The grid filter adds a cool effect, and having a built-in rechargeable battery with USB-C charging is a definite plus. It does feel a little cheap—the focus and filter housing are all plastic—but the performance is solid and the features make it a good pick overall. I can recommend it.

It is not as powerful as others I've had but I do like that it has patterns and that you can charge it with a cable

Do not point at anyone's face. Very bright laser. Photos can't do it justice. I would say point it at something further away (but not at the sky, that's super illegal) since the light scattering is quite strong too. Very clean point. The star patterns change progressively as you spin the lens dial and loops back as you spin all the way around.

I had recently ordered another similiar laser and noticed this one felt cheap by comparison...It has very little weight to it, so much so, you would swear there was no battery inside...There Is but it doesnt feel like it... This one has a momentary push and hold to turn on beam fuction..My other one was a simple on/off switch...Whether the push button is a plus or not depends on the user..It comes with a star pattern head attached which can be simply unscrewed in order to expose the strait beam..As far as its strength, I tested both against a wall and up into the night sky to see which travelled farther.. they both seem equalin that respect...I didnt give this one 5 stars ,not because it didnt perform well enough but rather because its sold with zero documentation, no user manual, and most importantly noWarnings or cautions to the unsuspecting buyer.. secondly, it just feels Cheap so no 5 stars for this one...I mentioned it before when I reviewed the other laser, These are Not toys! they can cause irrepairable damage to the retina of Any living creature, it should never be given to teens or children, nor used in meetings as a pointer as the dot Itself can be harmful when viewd on a nearby surface.. These Should All be sold with protective glasses that filter out the harmful invisible infrared lite these can emit along with protection from the visible beam... Instructions, Cautions and glasses Should be a Given when any one is selling such device ...It demands Respect and care when used..

This is so cool. This pointer is 6 1/2" long with a 7/8 " diameter and has a USB-C charging port on one end. This is for the short USB-C cable that is included. Not only does this laser pointer have the straight green line for pointing (once you unscrew the star cap) but it comes with a star cap. What this is, is a filter that allows you to shine your laser through it and creates a multi dot display all across the wall or ceiling. With the laser button pressed on with one hand, you can turn the star cap around and around and you will see display after display of a bunch of squares made of green dots or a splash of mixed tiny dots and larger dots or dots of varying size in circles, etc. It reminds me of those Christmas devices that you can place in front of the house and point the light onto the house to display a myriad of stars or dots or reindeer. This doesn't have reindeer but it sure can put on an awesome light show when using the star cap. For a new toy gizmo this is a welcome addition to my collection. I had expected a short small key chain sized pointer but this is definitely not key chain sized.

I have other laser pointers. This one seems exceptionally bright. The pointer comes with a diffuser lens that enables the laser to throw various patterns of small dots. The lens can be removed allow the point to shoot a straight green laser.When I point it at a painted wall (off-white) from 20 feet away, the green dot is very bright, almost uncomfortable.This is a good laser for pointing at spots in the distance such as tall ceilings, high walls, tall trees

Very clear powerful laser pointer. It projects a very strong and powerful beam that is viewable even in full daylight. The removable cap works great for creating a projected grid pattern. The only downside I have with it (not enough to remove a star) is that you have to hold the button down.I'm working on putting together a paranormal kit and this laser pointer with it's grid cap will work great once I modify a pvc tube and mount it to a tripod.

Incredible. Has very clear pointer for a great distance. Very strong & sturdy construction.It took me a minute to figure out how to remove the "starlight" effect that is already on the pointer. There is a very thin 2nd piece before the top. I have marked it on the photo. Turn the 2nd piece to unscrew the Starlight top for just 1 laser beam. The Straight gives you many different starlight effects. Pretty cool. This is a gift & I wanted to be able to show them how to use it. Great value for the price.
