We needed light for a corner of our room where we put a bunch of kids toys for when the grandkids come over. It was dark-ish, so we pulled a lamp over there, but it did not look great, and we didn't like having the electrical cord by the toys. We were going to have can lights put in the ceiling, but that would have required cutting holes in our walls and ceiling to run the electricity. I bought these, and they work great. I followed the instructions and glued the metal strips to the ceiling (with the provided glue), and these lights attach to the metal strips with magnets. The remote works great with different lights - warm, cool, and bright. Also they dim, so the lighting is perfect for our need. No cutting the walls, and perfect fit. The lights pull down easily - because they are held on with magnets - and recharge using a standard (and supplied) USB charge cord. Nice

Would give this 4 stars just based off how bright and easy to use they are. But these things take FOREVER to charge. I have one that the battery went out on today. It’s been on the charger for no less than 6 hours and is still charging. Lasts maybe a day if it’s in your main room. I have no interior lighting in multiple rooms of my apartment. It’s great to have these. But be prepared to charge them overnight and maybe still not be charged when you wake up.

I really like this rechargeable motion sensor ceiling light. It’s super easy to install and incredibly convenient since you can place it almost anywhere. The included remote allows you to access several useful settings, and the battery life is impressively long. I installed mine in my kitchen pantry, and the occupancy sensor is fantastic for maintaining battery life by only turning the light on when needed.I also love the adjustable color temperature, which allowed me to match the 3000K lighting I have throughout my house. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference for consistency.However, there are a couple of drawbacks. The metal mounting base is completely flat, and if you choose to use screws for installation, it’s difficult to find screws with flat enough heads to sit flush against it. This can cause a bit of wobble when attaching the light to the base. While adhesive installation might solve this, I’m unsure how well it will hold up over time, especially on a sheetrock ceiling.Another issue is the remote dependency. While the remote makes configuration easy, it’s frustrating that you can’t operate or adjust the light without it. Although I don’t need the remote now that it’s configured in my pantry, I still have to keep track of it just in case. I can see how the remote would be useful in other setups, but it’s not ideal for me.Lastly, the occupancy sensor only detects motion directly beneath the light. This is probably good for reducing unnecessary activations, but I wish there were an option to adjust the sensitivity for broader coverage.Overall, this light is a great addition to my kitchen pantry. It’s slim, reliable, and offers great functionality for the price. Despite a few minor inconveniences, I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a rechargeable motion sensor light!
