convenient, loud and comes with instructions if needed. keychain makes it easy to put on keys or purse, etc. thought about getting black and then i thought, i should probably get something bright colored that i can see right away if need be, not something i need to dig around for.

I found this personal safety alarm performs exactly as advertised and includes several useful features that make it a solid, well-rounded device for emergency situations. The alarm emits a loud, high-pitched siren rated at up to 130dB, which is enough to attract attention quickly. It also includes a strobe light that activates simultaneously with the alarm adding a visual signal that can help in low-visibility environments, or to alert others from a distance. Both the sound and light are triggered by pulling the pin, and the alarm can be stopped by reinserting the pin—simple and straightforward operation. I tested numerous times and each time it worked without issue. Another nice feature is its rechargeable battery. It charges via USB-C and includes a low battery indicator. I like that as I can tell the device is charged up and will be ready when needed. Charging the device is quick and efficient. It also includes a built-in LED flashlight, which can be used separately from the alarm in steady or strobe mode. It’s about as strong as your cell phone light, so useful for quick illumination but not meant to be a flashlight replacement. The overall build is lightweight, compact, and easy to attach to bags, keychains, belt loops, or backpacks using the included keychain ring. It says it's TSA friendly, but I haven't tested this personally. While the sound output may not reach the absolute peak decibel level claimed in all conditions, it is still very loud and sufficient for drawing attention. I think this safety alarm combines multiple practical features into a small and easy-to-use package, and based on my tests should provide reliable functionality in emergency situations.

I’ve always wanted something like this for safety reasons, so I finally decided to grab one and I'm so glad I did! It’s small and easy to add to your car keys or purse. Super simple to use, just pull the pin, and it gives off a really loud noise. It also has a light with both solid and flashing options. I love that it charges with a USB-C cable, so no need to worry about buying batteries. It even comes with a small manual. Definitely a great thing to have on hand for peace of mind!

This Personal Safety Alarm for Women by MtMinn Store may look small and unassuming. But looks can be deceiving. This little fellow can be a help to you in several ways. Just in case you need a flashlight to look for something you dropped, it has one for you! If you want to make sure and have it handy while you are walking or shopping, it has a clip to go on your belt loop (jeans) or on your handbag. It comes with a small USB cable to recharge it. It even has 'low battery' alert on it to let you know when to recharge. Included is a nice user manual that gives detail instructions that is easy to understand along with pics. The main thing it does is give you some peace of mind. If you are in an unfamiliar area alone - and should a need arise - just pull the pin out for the alarm to start. It may be small but it is mighty!! The sound is deafening the strobe light is doing it's thing! Just replace the pin for siren and strobe light to stop.I believe you will be pleased with this purchase.

I tested this device at a distance of 6 inches and it only registered 116 dB. That is quite a bit lower than the 130–140 dB advertised. It still works for what it is designed to do however, get someone’s attention. The biggest thing I like about this design is that it can be hooked onto a backpack or purse strap and is activated just by tugging on it. No fumbling around with buttons. That being said, if it is not attached to something, it would take two hands or you would have to hook it around something and tug on it, maybe your teeth or something else nearby. If your hands are big enough and dexterous enough, you may be able to activate it with one hand. The convenience of having a built-in flashlight and strobe is also nice. I only give it four stars since it is not quite as loud as it is supposed to be. Overall I would recommend this as long as you are cautious of the way it is activated.

You can never have too many safety devices, so when I saw this portable alarm I knew it would be perfect for my adult daughter who runs often and works late. The dual light mode is handy when unlocking doors with visibility, and the alarm is quite loud, which as a mom is my favorite feature. She loves that it hooks easily to her keychain without the need to detach to use, and is always with her.I appreciate the quality, unique design, functionality and value 🌱Happy to recommend
