I picked this up to be able to vacuum out my inground hot tub, especially when first opening it for the summer. The vacuum, once charged activates suction once inserted into water above a certain point. It does a good job sucking up small leafs and debris. I definitely would not use this for a medium or larger pool. It would take you a while to suck everything up. You get a few attachments and you just need to experiment with what works for your cleanup situation. Once you have enough leaves/debris in the chamber, it easily twists and you can then remove the catch where there is also a little cone like filter to collect smaller debris, and from there it is super easy to clean, especially if you have a hose handy. I would recommend this for my use, where I have a hot tub that I want to give a cleaning to every now and then, but not so much a pool.

This is a handy little handheld filter pump that we use for cleaning our hot tub. It isn't the most elegant but it gets the job done. Most often we use it for getting the stuff that settles in the corners like pine needles and things that don't get caught by the main filter.It doesn't completely keep everything is sucks up in the filter so we've gotten in the habit of turning it upside down and letting the water run through the filter to keep the things from flowing the wrong way through the one-way valve that doesn't work perfectly.Overall, I'm satisfied with the "Rechargeable Pool Vacuum".

The unit was easy to assemble and charge.- functionally works ok; we'll see if it can keep up in the fall when the pool gets more gritty- quality seems pretty good- will use it mainly for quick clean up before company comes over- cordless functionality is a big plus- okay price value for the quality and functionality

Assembly was pretty straight forward. Works well for touch-ups. I absolutely love that it's cordless!! So easy and convenient to grab it quickly and spot clean some areas without having to attach hoses. Feels well built too, it's hard to peak of longevity because I just got it, but I'll be sure to update if I have any issues. So far so good!

For hot tubs, it's great. No more trying to stir up debris on the bottom so you can catch it with a net and then having whatever you already scooped up with the net end up back in the water again. We've all done that, right?Cool that it turns on when you put it into the water. First time I used it I thought it was broken, but it's a small motor of course, and the water muffles the sound. It's pretty much silent in operation. The length of the handle is just right to get into the spa without struggling.This might be useful if you have a little kiddy pool or something like that but it's not for any normal size pool.Hopefully this will last. I don't see any way to replace the rechargeable battery. On one hand that's good because it's one less place where water could get in where it isn't wanted. but once the battery no longer holds a charge, it's probably a throwaway. Time will tell, but right now I'm happy.

It's not convenient to clean, it's very troublesome. The main thing is that it can't be cleaned!

Totally agree with others well made (it does come in a small box) assembly is easy was hunting the on / off switch but it starts and stops automatically made short work of cleaning some grit and debris in the spa in a minute or so very quiet when it runs easy to empty and clean and long enough to reach all corners of the spa.
