The function of the turntable level is to detect whether the record player is stable or not. Some record players are not stable enough, and the turntable level is needed to flatten and adjust the record. Place the turntable level on the record player and observe the bubble position. If the bubble is on the left side, means the left side is higher, then adjust to the right. If the bubble is on the right side, means the right side is higher, then adjust to the left. If the adjustment could not be in place, the machine and equipment need to be checked.

This works, however it is lighter than I initially anticipated. I would probably buy it again for the price, but I would want to shop around more the next time.

This weight is worthless. Too light to make any difference whatsoever and too tall to not scrape the dustcover.

I really like this weight, for the bubble level, the weight, and it looks great. I wanted the black one after I saw a photo of a friends. It was out of stock so I bought a different brand in black. Very comparable, but the bubble color on the Viborg is better than the other brand. You won't be disappointed, in either silver or black.

First of all the box this came in looked like someone already opened it before. Maybe I got someone else's return. Then I noticed that there was no bubble in the level. There was no liquid inside! No alcohol, no water, no spirit, no level. Well just for grins I tried the fit on my tuntable spindle, and that was good, not too tight or loose, but nicely snug. However the stoboscopic lines for checking the speed with a 60 hz neon light were not concentric with the center. They swayed from side to side like a record that is pressed off center, causing the lines to vary slightly, like a turntable with wow. Not good. I will be returning this. Please send it back to China, and don't sell it to anyone else.

Mine did not have any fluid in the top and it probably dried out. Other than that.....it does its job....for the price - its not bad at all.

Very useful; good heft to the item, seems precision modeled and built, no sharp edges -- but seller shipped me the wrong color (ordered gold, got black).
