I've been wanting to get these recordable buttons for my dog. He has a deep, loud bark and that is how he was communicating his need to go out. I was hoping to change that and give him another way to communicate his needs.My dog is a fast learner and training is pretty easy for him. So, I was hopefully that he would pick up on these buttons. He caught on pretty quickly and now every time he needs to go out he uses his "outside" button instead of barking so loudly to tell us he needs to go out.Now he uses these buttons to tell us he wants to play, go for a walk, and treat. Then he looks at me with such an expression of joy and excitement. It's the best feeling, when he is able to communicate with us in this way.The buttons work well, the sound is clear, and they've held up well to daily use. Sometimes, if I don't move fast enough my dog will pick one of the buttons up and carry it to me to press it again. So far, the buttons all still look good and work just fine. The colors stand out and are bright so you can clearly see which button is which. If you place these on carpeting the sound won't work well, though. The sound is muffled by carpet.Tip; teach your dog "touch" as a base command first. My dog has known the touch command since he was a pup, so I feel like this was an easy transition for him to learn how to operate the buttons. With some patience and a lot of treats any dog should be able to learn how to use these buttons.

We just got a new puppy and before her we had a cat. He was old so I knew I would never be able to teach him how to press buttons before he passed away, but I knew it was something I wanted to teach our new cockapoo. She's only 5 months old, so we are using them while we train her. We have one to say "go potty" and we press it when we ask her to go potty. Hopefully when she transitions to outside toileting, she will use the button to tell us when she needs to go. We also have one that says to "go for a walk" and we are still holding out on the other two for later. She isn't ready to use them yet, but the quality of these buttons are great and we have no doubt that they will last. They are really easy to press and the sound they emit is loud enough, and clear. We are excited for our dog to be able to tell us what she needs in the future!

These are fun to teach your dog words, and to have them ask for things. These buttons are just okay in terms of quality. The speaker could be better. And there are others that are rechargeable with a USB-C. These require AA batteries, but they should last a while, depending on the batteries you use. They also don't come with any stickers for labeling the buttons, as others do. For what they are, they are okay.

These are easy to use and set up. If you don’t like your recording it can easily be rewritten. My only complaint is that they only have one volume and that is loud!
