Installation steps
Step 1
Prepare the red dot column brackets you want to use and our extension guides and assemble them together
Step 2
Tighten the screws and use a screwdriver to lock the screws to prevent loosening
Step 3
At this point, after assembling and tightening the screws on the side, install to the guide rail

It more for mounting a PEQ or laser sight below your red dot so that it clears your hand or iron sights when folded down. It’s easy enough to install and holds as tightly as you want. It feels like a solid piece of aluminum. As far as I’m concerned, if you want to have a more solid platform, I recommend using thread locker on the screw so it stays in place. The color is bretty basic black so it should match well with the rest of your black accessories. Good fit, performa well. Not a bad value in case you’re looking to just add to your kit as opposed to swapping to a hydra setup.

This thing is completely out of spec, do not buy if you are mounting to Unity riser.

If you plan on using this with a real unity riser, make sure you have a dremel and some spray paint!After a little grinding down I got mine to fit, I think its a good way to save $130 on the real thing but I'll follow up with a range update.

Overall good item! Did have to very slightly chamfer edges with a file to get it to insert into hole in mount, and tap it a couple times with a rubber mallet to get it to fully seat (it's quite a tight fit!) but that doesn't bother me at all, and in fact contributes to it being a very solid fit up. This was installed on another aftermarket reproduction of the unity fast mount, not the brand name unity OEM mount. My only complaint is a design issue, and shared by the OEM big name brand skiff as well: they could have skeletonized this better so as to decrease weight and increase distance between skiff and rail, as it sits this is over-built for what it needs to do. Other than that, this is great and I'll buy another if the need ever arises!
