Helpful techniques overall with some basics for left handers. Photos geared to older teens and adults. Smart choice of including 5 mm and 6 mm needles, and other nifty tools. Supplying diagrams for left handers throughout would be nice to include in future editions.

I bought this for a Christmas gift and it does seem to have everything needed to learn how to knit, but it came in a plastic zip bag as if someone went through, picked each item and then tossed them in the baggie
