I buy and wear 3X all the time, this was way too small. Nice product but doesn't fit and a larger size isn't available. :(

I needed a jacket for food prep, one that is hygienic and not pull hair. This does the job but I wish the fabric was softer. The rough fabric can chafe and irritate my skin where it is in direct contact with my body. This is especially true if I am engaged in a repetitive motion (chopping, stirring, etc.) for extended time.This made for a man's body - women can wear it but the fit is for men.

My husband is a dentist. If you buy protective lab coats from a dental or medical supply company, be prepared to pay through the nose. These are affordable, and since they get serious wear at our office, they are easily replaced to stay looking crisp and clean. These are sturdy, not flimsy or thin, and we like them.My husband had other protective jackets from this same company, but they had pockets, and he's always shoving stuff into them which winds up in my washing machine. Too many clothes ruined by ball point pens that were sitting in those pockets, hence, my headline title to this review.
