I love the low G string. It gives the uke more versatility. With a hi G string, the uke only sounds good with certain songs. BUT… the LOW G string gives the instrument a lower tone. And makes it sound better when playing songs that normally won’t work with a uke. I highly recommend the strings with a low G string!!!

I put these strings on my Aklot concert ukulele and they sound great! The sustain and sound quality are awesome and they're easy on the fingers, which makes practicing more enjoyable.

Amazing strings. Wish I changed them in the beginning of playing my Uke. What a difference!

Nice strings that offer a crisp, well rounded sound. Hold tuning pretty well too from the beginning - it's been a few weeks since print them on and I've barely had to retune.

Once these strings break-in the sound is amazing. I had to get used to the feel and there is a "whisper" when you play them that is different from nylon but they really sound terrific.

Really revived a semi dull sounding Bell shaped ukulele and gave it a rich jazz-like tone. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTALLTION INSTRUCTIONS. These strings cut easily and need to be pulled out of the slots on the neck while tightening or they will cut into the strings. I think this may be why so many reviewers complained of breaking strings - esp the low G which is a little thick for the high G slot. The strings also have a slight texture to them and feel a little stiffer than normal strings. Not a negative, just different. Really cool sound though! The red also looks great against an ebony fretboard, although can be a bit harder to see if you play by looking at your fingers rather than by touch. You might want to be aware of this if you are a beginner.
