Cheap brittle plastic first slice of a strawberry, the frame broke!

This strawberry slicer feels cheaply made, I'm not sure just how long this is going to last.It doesn't do well with larger strawberries, kind of just smashed those.It works well with strawberries that fit inside of this and does slice them pretty well. It just won't work with every strawberry you get..It's not bad but we will see how long this holds up for.

This is a fun little kitchen gadget. It's really sharp and slices easily through strawberries and hard boiled eggs. It'll be useful for using as decoration on cakes and pies.

It’s quick and easy to have sliced strawberries for whatever you have in mind. I slice mine for breakfast.

So this strawberry slicer is ok. Blades are a bit dull, could be sharper but they're passable. When you get the perfect strawberry size, this works ok. It slices them with relative ease and works ok. The problem is that not all strawberries are created equal and are not the perfect size. Large strawberries or double wide strawberries are immediately discarded from being used here because they don't even fit in the stand. If you attemp to cut anyway despite not fitting you're going to be left with a mushed mess of a strawberry rather than a sliced one. This goes at a serious disadvantage for this slicer because this means that most strawberries are not apt to be used with it. A bummer considering I had high hopes for this item. At least its easy to clean though.

It is smaller than it looks and using it to cut mushrooms broke the cheap plastic.

I was pleased to see how well built this little slicer is. The tines are not wire like an egg sliver but like a set of blades which was encouraging. I think with some care this slicer could last us several years maybe a decade.Only time will tell. My wife makes strawberry jam every now and then so when I saw this I thought it would save her time and energy. So far we like it.Best of luck.

This slicing tool works well. I have used it with strawberries and hard boiled eggs so far and I have been pleased with the results. I like making strawberry spinach salad and this makes the task of slicing the strawberries much easier.
