I have just bought my second pair to keep as a smarter pair. The originals are still great and comfortable but always muddy at the moment. Completely waterproof. The best and most comfortable yard/outdoor boots I have ever had.

So far I have I really enjoyed wearing these shoes. They are comfortable, have very good grip, appear to be well made and are waterproof. As a farmer/greenhouse worker they have what it takes!

I bought these to replace an old pair of Redback boots that I purchased in Australia quite a few years ago. I loved those boots but finally, after years of daily wear, the leather wore through at some crease points. I don't know if the manufacturer has changed the process or the ones exported to the US are different or the seller of the boots I received is one of the third-party sellers selling counterfeit merchandise that seem to be invading Amazon these days, but the boots I received bore no resemblance to my previous boots. Way too small, even though I order the same size as my previous boots and the leather was stiffer. I returned them.

I love these boots so much. I only ever bought Blundstones before, but when I found out they were no longer made in Australia I searched for an alternative. I couldn't be any happier with my Redbacks; they're even more comfortable than my Blundstones ever were and they've held up really well through many muddy days at the barn.

Viel kann ich zu dem Redback noch nicht schreiben, der Schuh ging leider zurück, da er nicht gepasst hat. Ich hab 39,5 bestellt und habe normal 39. Trotz der 1/2 Nummer größer war der Schuh noch zu klein. Daher gibts vorerst mal nur 3 Sterne.Ich bin jetzt gespannt wie der Schuh in 40 ausfällt. Außerdem habe ich von Braun zu schwarz gewechselt.Die Verarbeitung des Schuhs war sehr gut und das Leder ist sehr dick. Die angeklebte/angegossene Sohle kann ich noch nicht beurteilen, sie sollte aber gem. den anderen Beurteilungen halten.Sollte der 40er auch nicht passen und zu steif sein werde ich wohl zu Blundstone wechseln. Die sollten von vorneherein etwas weicher im Leder sein.Nachtrag:Nachdem ich nun den Schuh in Größe 40 erhalten habe, und schon einige Zeit tragen konnte, muss ich sagen, dass ich sehr zufrieden bin. Der Gripp der Sohle ist wirklich klasse, meine Meindel-Wanderschuhe mit Vibram Sohle sehen dagegen schlecht aus. Einzigstes Manko ist, dass die Sohlen auf Fußböden aus Kunststoff quietschen :-). Das Eintragen des Schuhs dauerte ca. 2 Tage und dann war es gut. Da ich regelmäßig und gerne halbhohe Wanderschuhe trage, musste ich mich auch an den "lockeren" Sitz der Lederboots gewöhnen. Wanderschuhe binde ich gerne schön fest, was hier natürlich nicht mögich ist.Also 5 Sterne für diese Boots von Redback.

I am wearing them for the first time today and they are so comfortable and look good as well. Really pleased with them and will see how they survive the winter.
