I use it for heavy snow removal at cabin in CA Sierra Nevada mountains. It is very efficient when used at a high frequency, which is easy to do because it is lightweight and the shovel head doesn't hold that much snow. The snow there is wet and heavy, so a smaller head is better.

Moved to Minnesota from Europe and had never experienced snow on a daily basis! Wanted to buy a shovel mainly to keep in the car for emergencies. Item is ideal for storage as it can be detached in 3 pieces. Used it to clear entrance to my garage (no drive way) and to clear entrance of my apartment. Gave 5 stars for its sturdiness and being compact to carry around as it does the job nicely. Please do not buy if in need to clear large areas as the only drawback is the small surface area of the shovel. It will take you ages and a good deal of effort to remove snow from large areas. Apart from that, It is a perfect addition to have around for the occasional use!

Unlike your normal snow shovels it is made out of full metal aluminum. It is so light weight that even people with bad back can lift it like a plastic baseball bat. The product is 100% metal, no plastic or wood even the detachable button. It is also longer than its competitors on Amazon. Highly recommend for anyone with "bad back". Everything comes off easily and goes back on easily.

I bought this for my mountain trips . So far it’s a good tool to have just in case . It looks sturdy enough to dig through hard snow .
