J'ai longtemps hésité à cause du prix élevé, mais aucun regret !Les routes de Belgique étant particulièrement dégradées et inconfortables pour la pratique du cyclisme (digne héritières de l'Afrique centrale), cette tige de selle apporte une très nette amélioration du confort et donne presque l'impression de rouler sur des routes normales !Montée sur un Canyon de route, elle est beaucoup plus confortable que la tige de selle d'origine bi lame.J'ai dû placer la selle 2cm plus haut pour compenser le léger écrasement lorsque l'on se positionne sur la selle. Il n'y a aucun pompages au pédalage mais j'ai dû précontrainte un peu plus dur le ressort que recommandé.La tige de selle est aussi suffisamment discrète comparée à d'autres, que pour ne pas modifier l'apparence du vélo.

Product is well- built with a nice design. The problem for me was the level of vibration I felt while in use. I tried different settings for the seat post suspension from firm to soft, but never found one that was tolerable for rides longer than 1/2 hour.

Optisch ist die Sattelstütze eine Wucht, auch technisch ist der Gewinn an Federungskomfort deutlich spürbar. Die fummelige Sattelmontage ist m.E. jedoch verbesserungswürdig, wenngleich dies ja glücklicherweise nur einmal vollzogen werden muss, trotzdem dafür 1 Stern Abzug.

For long distance, I tried other suspensions. I've tried carbon posts. Carbon seat.In the end, this Shockstop Pro Endurance, which is in the middle, works well. It is pricey but it is an investment that can be reused for life. It is easy and simple to service.I have a Redshift stem, drop bar grips, and they make good stuff. Expensive but R&D is not cheap and a good company, is a good company!

Its been said that the Redshift suspension seatpost is a game changer. It definitely is. I bought three: one for my gravel bike, and another two for my wife's and my hardtail. The system is especially effective in smoothing out gravel road chatter. It feels a bit bouncy over big roots, but helps considerably none the less. The seatpost makes long rides less grueling and tiresome. I also like that it can be more finely tuned than other systems by offering two springs, and three elastomeres that can be combined in more ways than most other systems.
