The item itself has a nice weight to it and i like the oil being hidden so not an obvious diffuser. My issue though is several petals were broken upon shipping which is a shame. Did reach out to selller but that didnt go so well. Otherwise i really like it

From the packaging to the design to the materials used, this diffuser is fantastic quality. I had no issues with breakage or opening the oil bottle or setting up the little pot with stones. It all worked for me.The only thing lacking is the strength of the scent. I don't know if that's simply the strength of the oil blend or the mechanics of a ceramic diffuser (since reed diffusers seem to allow for more oil exposure.) I'm using it in a guest half-bathroom and it works for that smaller space, a subtle scent that isn't too overpowering. And since this is a half-bath without a window, I can't have a real plant so it's nice to have a small decorative item that gives a plant vibe but isn't plastic or fabric that'll collect obvious dust. The scent itself is fine, but doesn't have that wow factor. This diffuser would be perfect if the scent was more interesting to me. Once the oil is used up, I plan to re-use the diffuser (it really is super pretty and great looking up close) and try an essential oil of my own. So that's why I think this makes a nice gift. It's not a bunch of reeds you throw away but an item that's sustainable. Recommended.

Pros: looks great, attractive aesthetic, sturdy, solid, smells terrificCons: expensive, how do I buy refills?I was excited to try this *new* style diffuser and I'm not disappointed. Once put together, as the instructions said, it did take a day or 2 for the succulent to soak up the oil - it visually changes from a very pale green to a more saturated green color, you can watch it (slowly) happen.The Frozen Pear scent is lovely - fruity, light, pleasant. I like it a lot.The ceramic base is flat bottomed, solid and sturdy. The whole thing goes together easily, though the little white rocks are a bit dusty.I'm not sure this is worth nearly $40, but it is very nice and all pieces are solid quality. Comes in a nice (& very giftable) cylindrical case.

Unique way to freshen up your space! I love succulents and keeping my home smelling great so, this was a great find! The base us cement and has a bit of weight to it. The succulent is ceramic and comes looking very light in color (very unrealistic). The scented oil comes in a jar and the succulent has a braided, cotton wick (similar to an oil lamp) underneath that is placed into the oil jar. That is then placed back into the cement planter. Over time, the oil is absorbed into the wick and through the succulent. The succulent begins to darken up (looking much more realistic). It took about three days for it to fully absorb and change color. The smell is STRONG, so great for large spaces. The smell is light and pleasing, and everyone agrees that it's not overpowering and one they like. The oil jar holds a large volume that I expect to last maybe three months (not sure). I haven't checked to see if the brand offers other scents and replacements but, I'd definitely buy more in the future (if offered). Great quality, well made and makes for a fantastic gift!

This ceramic diffuser by Pretty Valley Home is such a wonderfully creative idea. I put this in my home office which is a small enclosed space and the next day I opened the door I was not overwhelmed by the smell (and neither were my pets). The scent is pleasant and not overwhelming but you can certainly tell it is there. This arrived in the wonderfully giftable cylindrical box shown in the description’s pictures and was well padded inside. The ceramic ‘cactus’ was contained in its own foam insert. It is a lighter color than what is seen in the description’s pictures but does seem to darken up as it absorbs the oils. I think the ‘cactus’ looks quite realistic and will fool many. The small white rocks are in a resealable baggie and you can use as many as you want. The only problem I had, as others have mentioned, is removing the rubber stopper from the glass bottle. It took me some minutes to get it out but I do appreciate how well sealed the bottle was and none of the liquid leaked inside the box. This looks really nice in my office and I even like the rustic appearance of the cement pot. I would love to see refills from this seller of the same scent and others so I can continue using this diffuser. This would make a great present for many different holidays.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. This is a really nice item. It's well made, attractive, and works well! It would be a great gift, it's packaged really nicely and looks awesome. So far it's working great and I just love how aesthetic it is!! Form and function!
