Better than the competition, but the build quality is not in line with the retail price.The hook is much larger than what come with the WDH kits. I can only loop the last link over it; it does not allow for any links to hang down.You’ll have to do some grinding to get these things flat. Angle grinder with a flap disc made quick work of it.

I added a storage box on my 17' RV trailer, no room for the swing up style hooks for the weight distribution system. These work great, and install was easy. Measuring, placement and drilling were a slight difficulty but any RVer should have no trouble. It took less than 20 minutes. I would recommend even if there is no obstruction to the swing up style. I wish I had done this on my 35' foot RV trailer.

These Reese hangers were installed on my travel trailer for use with a Reese Weight Distribution Hitch in April 2019. Within the first year, the powder coat chipped off totally on the hanger piece and rusted. I've been having to spray paint them often to keep the rust at bay. Not a big deal as I spot paint things on my trailer anyway as part of routine maintenance. I sold my trailer and need another set of these for my new trailer, so I went ahead and reordered since they didn't fail, but be fore warned, you will likely need to paint them to keep them from rusting. One other issue, I just ordered these again yesterday and I received Curt brand instead (over $40 cheaper than the Reese ones I actually ordered) Amazon is sending out a replacement order, but I'm skeptical if I'm still just going to receive the Curt brand. I suspect there is a mixup in their stock codes or something. Oddly though, the Curt brand seems to have a much more durable finish, BUT, there is no weld on the front, so it won't be as strong as the Reese brand, so I'm going to stick with the Reese hangers despite having to paint them periodically.

Easy to install. And good quality. The only down side on the ones I received is the round stock needed to be ground down on backside to make flush with the plate before bolting down. 5 min fix and a little paint.
